About me
Annalisa Zisman is a leading authority on the treatment of back problems and a leading teacher of therapeutic massage. She has been a Health and Fitness professional for over 23 years, originally qualifying with a Diploma in Health and Fitness studies from the Raworth Centre, Dorking, in 1991. As a passionate believer in continuing personal and professional development and the holistic approach to health and well being, she has since gone on to study many different disciplines and techniques in massage and other bodywork therapies. She is also a trained counsellor, qualifying with a Diploma in Person Centered Counselling from the prestigious Metanoia Institute.
Annalisa devotes her time between running a very busy massage / exercise therapy practice which is her main passion. In her ‘spare time’ she presents at conferences such as CamExpo – Europe’s largest complimentary alternative medicine convention where she has enjoyed sell out presentations. She also works as a consultant in various capacities all aimed at developing therapists and raising standards within the industry.
They say the rest is history but for the inquisitive she previously set up “Walk Tall” – an innovative group exercise programme for back sufferers and co-founded / was the MD for Inspire Massage Workshops, a massage school dedicated to raising standards in the industry. Until recently she was the Regional Co-ordinator for the CThA (Complimentary therapist association) which is one of the biggest professional bodies for the industry.
Annalisa is regarded as a natural people person, has an infectious energy and goes the extra mile for her clients. She frequently networks with trusted industry colleagues to evolve her knowledge, brainstorm ideas all aimed at delivering the best treatments possible.
